The weekend was very cool but sunny. No class today so we are on our own. On Saturday we walked to the nearby museum, Jacquemart-Andre. The beautiful large house/small manor belonged to a couple by the same name who collected art. They eventually donated the building and the art collection to become a museum.

That evening we had dinner at the nearby Turkish restaurant that we had discovered earlier. It is a very busy place. We got the last available table up in the balcony overlooking the kitchen.
On Sunday (the 29th) we caught an Uber for a drive over to Rue de Rivoli and Angelina’s Salon de Thé where we had breakfast and some of their wonderful hot chocolate.
And after buying some hot chocolate mix to take home we also browsed the pastry counter. Delicious looking but we didn't buy anything.
Afterwards we walked over to the promenade along the Seine River and headed back to our hotel along this scenic route. Shortly after we got there, we noticed runners. Lots and lots of runner running along the riverside road that had been blocked off for what we now knew was a run or maybe a marathon. Anyway, lots of runners.
